Mental Asylum

For months, people have been avoiding the old mental asylum on the city's outskirts. Officially, it's empty, but residents repeatedly report flickering lights behind boarded-up windows and faint voices emanating from the walls at night. Several people who got too close to the grounds are now considered missing. One evening, a distraught man appears on the country road. His clothes are torn, his hands tremble incessantly. He repeatedly whispers: "They wouldn't let me go... they're still waiting..." Before he can explain what he saw, he loses consciousness – and dies a few hours later. You are a team of inquisitive reporters who decide to uncover the secret of the abandoned asylum. As soon as you enter the grounds, an unnatural silence descends. The wind dies down, and your footsteps echo far too loudly. Behind you, the gate slams shut. In the dark corridors, old medical records hang on the walls; water—or is it blood—still drips from some cells. You hear whispers, laughter, sobs, but no one is to be seen. Suddenly your vision darkens.
