The legend says that in the year of grace 381 we saw St-Theodule, First Bishop of Sion, returning from Rome. In his luggage were the first branches that gave birth to the vine in Valais and a bell offered by the Pope. But what we do not see is that the Devil himself carried the heavy gift. The Saint had indeed managed to fool the Evil One who found himself in the service of the man of the church. St-Théodule, knowing that when his life would end the Devil would then find himself free, took care to lock him up in a vault. In this escape room, it is this vault located in one of the oldest cellars in Valais that you are invited to explore today.
