Escape the Kingdom

After a busy week working in the fields, a plan is made to take a trip with the horses over the weekend. The day goes as planned until dusk falls and disaster strikes. You were sitting comfortably by the warm fire, telling each other stories. But suddenly, terrifying figures descend upon your camp under the cover of night and take everyone captive. Their faces are disfigured with occult tattoos, their bodies wrapped in long black robes, and they whisper strange incantations in an unknown language as they bind your hands and feet. These figures are members of a blood order that originated back in the 11th century and still adheres to the ritual of human sacrifice to this day. You have completely lost track of time and awaken in a dungeon in an underground prison. The dungeon's lock clicks shut just as you hear the whisper that the executioner will return in an hour. First thoughts arise, and you wonder, where are we? And what will happen to us? Your pulse races, and the fear is almost uncontrollable, for now, it's a matter of life and death, and every passing second brings you closer and closer to the end...
